According to the information from the agriculture department, the quality of the harvested grain is quite good - over 60% of the yield meets the 3rd grade standards. As a result, the gross agricultural output has increased twofold, reaching nearly 1 trillion tenge, which is the best indicator in the country.
The regional authority further noted that it is essential not only to harvest the grown crops but also to ensure primary processing and subsequent storage of the grain. Currently, 3.2 million tons of the new harvest grain have been received at the region's grain storage facilities (73% capacity), of which 2.4 million tons or 76.5% is wheat.
"There are 265 grain dryers with a capacity of 9.6 thousand tons per hour for drying the grain. To stabilize prices in the domestic market, a direct grain purchase program has been initiated by JSC "NC "Prodcorporation", with 151 applications received for the purchase of 39 thousand tons of grain," the agriculture department informed.
Local farmers are receiving government support. Under the preferential lending programs for spring fieldwork and harvesting "Ken Dala" and "Ken Dala 2" (via ACC and JSC SPK "Kokshe"), 600 agricultural producers in the region have been financed for a total of 60 billion tenge.
The timely execution of the entire range of fieldwork significantly depends on the technical equipping of the machine and tractor fleet. This year, 1,239 new units of machinery have been purchased (334 tractors, 234 combines, 256 towed/attached equipment, and 415 other units). Of these, 334 units were acquired through the preferential leasing program.
To prepare for the sowing campaign of the next agricultural season, the issuance of preferential loans began in December of this year. This will allow farmers to replenish their working capital for salary payments, purchase quality seeds, mineral fertilizers, plant protection products, fuel, spare parts, and other necessary items in advance.
To date, 18 agricultural production cooperatives have been financed through JSC "ACC" for a total of 1 billion tenge. Additionally, document acceptance for the "Ken Dala 2" program is ongoing via JSC SPK "Kokshe."
"This will have a positive effect on farmers, allowing them to replenish their working capital for salary payments and to purchase quality seeds, mineral fertilizers, plant protection products, fuel, spare parts, and other essential goods and services in advance," the agriculture department summarized.
