Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov introduced the new head of the Ministry of National Economy, Serik Zhumangarin, to the staff. This was reported by the press service of the government.
Olzhas Bektenov expressed gratitude to Nurlan Baibazarov for his work as Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy and wished him success in his future endeavors.
During the introduction of Serik Zhumangarin, the head of the government emphasized that the priority task for the ministry in the upcoming period is to fulfill the president's mandate to ensure dynamic economic growth. Currently, the economy is showing a stable growth trend. It has been instructed to enhance efforts on structural changes in the economy, improve the effectiveness of budgetary and tax policies, and refine the forecasting of budget parameters.
Moreover, the Ministry of National Economy must implement a balanced policy to support businesses and a judicious tariff regulation policy to ensure growth in priority sectors of the economy.
