"No miracle happened": Morgenstern's concert in Kazakhstan has been canceled once again.

Rapper Alisher Morgenstern announced on Instagram that his performance in Kazakhstan has been canceled. The artist was scheduled to hold a concert on December 7 at one of the nightclubs in the 28 Panfilovtsev Park in Almaty.

“Hello, Kazakhstan! The surprise didn’t work out. The miracle didn’t happen, so please return your tickets. I hope to see you one day,” said the artist, without specifying the reasons for the concert cancellation.

The information about the concert is still available on the Freedon Ticketon website, but tickets can no longer be purchased.

This is already the second cancellation of a concert by the well-known artist, who has been designated as a "foreign agent" in Russia, for the year 2024. The first meeting with his Kazakh fans was supposed to take place in April in Astana, but Morgenstern canceled his performance, citing security threats.

“According to my information, it is unsafe for me to be in your country. But if someone from the state publicly assures that I will be fine, I will come even with a tour. At this moment, I cannot take risks,” the singer stated at that time.

Morgenstern's concerts are not the only ones being canceled in Kazakhstan. In October 2024, Belarusian singer Max Korzh also announced the cancellation of his performance in Almaty. Korzh explained that more stable conditions are needed for holding the concert.

On September 2, the founders of the British rock band Placebo, Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, announced that they would not perform in Kazakhstan. Their concert was scheduled for September 8 at the Park Live Festival in Almaty. According to the artists, the cancellation was due to “significant indirect reasons,” unrelated to the professionalism of the organizers.

In August, the concert of the band “Bi-2” was canceled, which was supposed to perform at the Family Rock Fest in Konayev. The artists informed their fans about this back in May 2024.
